Accessible websites

Web accessibility is an increasingly important factor in website design. Web accessibility means making your website easy to read and navigate by all web users, including those who are visually impaired or who have other disabilities.

As well as increasing your reach, having an accessible website will ensure you comply with government legislation such as the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act. The international web standards organisation, W3C, has developed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to create a universally accepted standard of web accessibility. All of our websites adhere to these standards.

The good news

By ensuring your website adheres to W3C's standards, you will probably be improving the user experience by making your website easier to navigate and faster to load. You will also find that a standards-compliant website will have SEO benefits as Google shares our love of clean, accessible code.

A word from our clients

Eyes-Down created us a fantastic website several years ago. The design has remained fresh and they have always given us incredible support and advice. I really cannot recommend them enough.
