Supporting recovery with a smarter website
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) provides life-changing support for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. We worked with AA to create a new website that makes it easier for people to find help, connect with others, and access vital resources—whether online or in person.
A flexible, branded CMS
We built a custom WordPress site with a flexible content management system (CMS), giving the AA team full control over their content. The drag-and-drop editor and suite of branded design blocks make it easy to create new layouts while staying on brand throughout the site.
A smarter way to find meetings
One of the site’s key features is a powerful meeting search engine. Visitors can search for both in-person and online support meetings by location, day of the week, and time—helping people quickly find the support that fits their schedule and needs.
Built for speed and sustainability
The bespoke WordPress theme is lightweight, fast, and designed with a low carbon footprint in mind. As with all our builds, accessibility, performance and sustainability were top priorities.
Training and support
We delivered full training for the AA team, ensuring they were confident in using the CMS. We also produced a series of instructional videos to support ongoing content management and onboarding for new team members.
