London Early Years Foundation
Website, nursery search engine and application portal for London nursery charity
"What a great first time impression! Great content, tech and design. The new site is now serving many purposes and audiences who have different questions. That’s what I like about LEFY, you are always developing and growing."LEYF Partner
LEYF asked us to redesign their website both visually and structurally. After a consultation exercise we delivered a striking website with bespoke content management which is fully integrated with their CRM.
The website integrates with Google Maps to provide a geographic search engine. We also created a customer engagement portal which enables customers to book visits, apply for nursery places and apply for jobs through the website. These functions all send contact details directly to LEYF's CRM so that they can be efficiently followed up.

Eyes Down facilitated a stakeholder workshop for LEYF which was attended by staff, management, board members and partners. Over half a day we identified key user groups, prioritised content, modelled user journeys and sketched out possible website layouts.
As well as ensuring that the needs of all user groups would be met, the inclusion of the full team at this stage really helped to engage those present and make them feel part of the project.
By the end of the workshop we had sketched out a few alternatives of how the website navigation would be structured. Our team then went away and further developer the wireframe to the final version.
With the sitemap agreed, we put pen to paper and drew wireframes of the key pages of the new site. This phase not only creates a great brief for the designer, but also helps to communicate to the full team what the design might look like.
By taking the time to draw detailed wireframes we prevent any nasty surprises further down the line and ensure our projects run to time.
Next it was over to our designers who created a beautifully playful and creative look and feel for the website. The website has now been through two design iterations with the most recent design winning Website Of The Year at the 2016 NMT Awards.
