Users enter their company, premises and staff details before adding detailed usage data, all structured to conform to GHG Protocol standards.
Big data
Once the user has entered their data and paid for a report, Compare Your Footprint crunches the data, calculates the overall carbon footprint and compares it against thousands of other companies.
The CYF application stores millions of carbon usage data points and is unique in its ability to run carbon benchmarking calculations in real time.
Having discussed our idea with several development companies, we commissioned Eyes Down because of their detailed approach to planning and clear explanation of the process. Being novices at building software we learnt a lot from the Eyes Down team and they made the process seamless.
Despite the brief changing significantly during the project, the pricing was transparent and reasonable.
